The Honor Flags celebration is presented to the public by the Hearts for Children Foundation, Inc. to create and build an annual community event that acknowledges those who have positively influenced our lives. Depending upon the demand, up to 500 – or more – full size (3’ x 5’) American Flags will be flown on 7-foot flagpoles in the Field of Honor which will be located on the grounds of the Wake Forest Historical Museum on 414 North Main Street. The individual or corporate sponsor will be able to recognize one honoree for every flag adopted. A medallion will be hung on a flagpole with the name of the adopter, the honoree’s name and a brief comment about the honoree.
